I found this product works ONLY if used on occasion, but not with repeated use. I researched each ingredient to figure out why, and found out why. It contains an ingredient known to cause skin barrier damage. I alerted the company to this in hopes they would consider replacing the ingredient with a safer one, gave them links to controlled studies backing up my assertion, and their answer to me was "the jury is still out". I have to question their ethics when they ignore the information I sent them, and they continue to sell this product knowing full well it can possibly be harmful as per their admittance that "the jury is still out". Which I felt was a cop out answer in the first place. Most products marketed for the skin contain skin barrier damaging ingredients, and it is counter productive to have ingredients that heal the skin mixed with ingredients that damage the skin. I have researched various moisturizers and other related products for damaged skin for many years, and the safest ones are organic palm oil (Spectrum shortening), and organic Shea butter. I would not buy any product made by Wild Harvest ever again.
